Honda CR-Z subject to Recall
>> Thursday, December 8, 2011
In addition to a million cars Honda Jazz, CR-V and the City in the whole world, the car manufacturer Honda has also recorded a Recall of the hybrid tech sports car CR-Z. As reported by USA Today, Tuesday (09/06/2011) attracts about 5626 Honda CR-Z units in the U.S. that has a manual transmission.
Honda's recall was carried out to update the software that controls the electric motor. In a vehicle that hit effect, when the gasoline engine is not connected with an electric motor whose batteries are not depleted, so allowing the electric motor will rotate in the direction opposite the teeth. If this is the case, and the driver does not brake the CR-Z, the car can back slowly even if the position of the teeth are the teeth to move forward.
Vice versa, if the gear position is in reverse gear, the car actually moving forward. Surely this could potentially cause an accident. Honda reported no incidents due to this.
